Alana Settecasi - Registered Social Worker

Alana Settecasi

Alana Settecasi is a Registered Social Worker passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families to build stronger relationships, navigate challenges, and create meaningful and lasting change.

Alana has a particular interest in relationship and couples counselling, women’s mental health, pregnancy and postpartum wellbeing, parenting, family relationships, and supporting neurodivergent individuals and families. She works with adolescents and adults experiencing relationship difficulties, communication challenges, family conflict, parenting concerns, anxiety, life transitions, grief and loss, self-esteem concerns, and the emotional demands that arise throughout different life stages.

Alana is especially passionate about helping people understand the patterns that shape their relationships and emotional experiences. Drawing on attachment-based and emotion-focused principles, she supports clients to deepen self-awareness, strengthen emotional connection, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. She also integrates Gottman Method principles, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), strengths-based practice, and solution-focused approaches to meet each client’s unique needs.

Alongside her relationship and family work, Alana has experience supporting NDIS participants, including individuals navigating ADHD and autism. She is committed to providing neuroaffirming, gender-affirming, and inclusive care that recognises and values each person’s unique strengths and experiences.

Known for her warm, genuine, and down-to-earth style, Alana strives to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. She believes that positive change occurs through strong therapeutic relationships, compassionate curiosity, and practical strategies that help people move towards the life and relationships they want.

We understand that journeys are travelled better together. No issue is too big or too small. Whether it’s a series of sessions to deal with a complex problem or a single session to address a specific concern, we’re here to listen and help.
