Telehealth Psychology Services for NDIS Participants

Telehealth Psychology Services for NDIS Participants

Telehealth Psychology Services for NDIS Participants

We offer psychological therapy via telehealth for self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants in Adelaide, across South Australia and Australia-wide. Our services are designed to support neurodivergent people and people with disability in ways that are affirming, flexible, and responsive.

Caitlin Waldie offers our online services to NDIS clients.

Caitlin has an affirming approach to her clients, and is a very special psychologist.

Why Telehealth?

Accessing therapy from home can offer comfort, consistency, and control, especially when travelling to appointments is tiring, overwhelming, or inaccessible. Whether you live in a rural area, experience chronic illness or pain, juggle multiple responsibilities, or simply feel more at ease in your own space, telehealth can support you to access regular, high-quality care in a way that works for you.

Sessions are delivered via a secure video platform or phone, based on your preferences. We offer flexible appointment times, including daytime and after-hours availability.

We support a wide range of NDIS participants, including:

  • Children (where telehealth is appropriate)
  • Teenagers and young adults
  • Parents and carers
  • Adults seeking neurodiversity-affirming therapy
  • People navigating chronic illness, disability, or pain
  • Clients exploring identity or adjusting to a new diagnosis

We provide individual therapy and, where helpful, can work collaboratively with your broader team including family, schools, support workers, and other allied health providers to ensure consistency and coordinated care.

We have experience supporting clients with:

  • Autism/Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • ADHD and other attention-related differences
  • Intellectual disability
  • Psychosocial disability (e.g., anxiety, depression, PTSD, complex trauma)
  • Learning disabilities
  • Sensory processing differences
  • Chronic illnesses (e.g., ME/CFS, fibromyalgia, POTS, EDS)
  • Acquired brain injury
  • Developmental delay

Our Approach

Our practice is grounded in the social model of disability, which recognises that many of the barriers people face are not due to their bodies or minds, but due to inaccessible environments, systems, and assumptions. Therapy with us focuses on self-understanding, advocacy, regulation, and creating a life that fits you, not changing who you are.

What is Capacity Building?

Within the NDIS, Capacity Building refers to support that helps you develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to manage everyday life and work toward your goals. Rather than offering only short-term relief, capacity-building therapy aims to create meaningful, lasting change by supporting you to:

  • Build emotional regulation skills and resilience
  • Communicate and connect socially
  • Understand your neurotype, identity, and needs
  • Reduce anxiety, burnout, or sensory overwhelm
  • Develop routines, executive functioning, and self-care strategies
  • Strengthen confidence and self-advocacy
  • Navigate school, work, or independent living
  • Support parenting, boundaries, and relationships

Support is always individualised, collaborative, and grounded in what’s important to you.

NDIS Reporting and Documentation

We can provide NDIS reports to support therapy goals, contribute to plan reviews, or assist with applications for additional supports. Our reports can be tailored to your needs and written in a collaborative, accessible way that reflects your lived experience.

We offer:

  • Initial psychology assessment reports
  • Progress and review reports for plan reassessment
  • Goal-setting and therapy planning summaries
  • Letters to support applications for change of circumstances
  • Collaborative summaries for schools, workplaces, or allied health teams

Reports are completed only upon request, and we will never prepare reports or letters without your knowledge and informed consent.
