Sandy Wilkinson

Sandy Wilkinson focuses on child and adolescent assessment and therapy. Sandy has presented successful parenting skills training programmes over a number of years and has lectured educational psychology students. As part of her work with children, she designs intervention strategies aimed at improving educational outcomes. She provides assessments for behaviour problems and conditions such as ADHD, Autism, gifted and talented children and early school entry.

She is a specialised clinical psychologist and assists both adults and children with the full range of anxiety and depressive disorders.

Prior to working at Rose Park Psychology, Sandy worked at a Child and Family Centre, where she saw children, teenagers and families. She trained counsellors for Lifeline and provided psychotherapy to child and adolescent survivors of physical and/or sexual abuse. She ran support groups for women who were victims of domestic violence.

Prior to working full-time in private practice, Sandy worked part-time in the public sector with children and adolescents. Sandy has worked internationally and has stayed abreast of recent developments in psychology. She brings with her a broad range of skills and experience.

Sandy has completed a Masters Degree in Psychology and many years of experience working with children and their parents.
