Well-being and Education
Well-being is defined as “a good or satisfactory condition of existence; a state characterised by health, happiness, and prosperity; welfare.” There is growing research supporting the importance of developing skills to promote and support the ongoing development of well-being when persons are at a school age.
Rose Park Psychology is fortunate enough to have a highly experienced Well-Being and Education Consultant in Emily Shaw.
Emily predominantly runs child and adolescent group programs, including:
- What’s the Buzz? (Ages 5 – 10) (Feel free to download our What’s the Buzz? flier)
- MindUP™ (Ages 11 – 15) (Feel free to download our MindUP flier)
You may like to visit the individual webpages for these courses to get more specific information about them.
Emily is also available for individual sessions with parents concerned about their child’s educational and well-being needs. Additionally, she can adapt aspects of her group programs to work with children individually. Please contact the practice if you are interested in an individual program, and we will put you in touch with Emily to discuss your options.
