Weight Loss

Train Your Brain to Think Like a Thin Person

Most dieters know that they should not diet, they should eat nutritiously in the right quantity, refrain from emotional eating, make dieting their top priority, be assertive in social situations, exercise, tolerate hunger, exercise and always be motivated. Most people know what they should do. They just don’t do it.

You can use the program to follow the eating plan of your choice. It works with any diet.

Cognitive therapy for achieving weight loss has been established as an effective method of long term weight loss.

The program teaches you the thinking skills that you need to

  • Chose the diet for you
  • Maintain motivation
  • How to monitor and managing eating habits
  • Monitor your progress
  • Prevent unplanned eating
  • Tolerate hunger
  • Make long term changes to your habits

and may involve:

  • understanding how your thinking patterns have been sabotaging your best efforts
  • Learning how to think constructively
  • Dealing with the issues that prevent you from taking control (e.g. too upset, too busy, too rushed, always meeting others needs)
  • Dealing with other psychological problems that stand in your way

The program is not suitable as a treatment program for anorexia, but can be used to maintain an eating plan with the goal of putting on weight.
