Katherine Hunt
Katherine Hunt is a qualified Clinical Psychologist with a Master’s degree from the University of South Australia. She has experience of working with both child and adult clients with a variety of psychological and/ or relationship issues. She is the youngest of our Psychologists at Rose Park but still has almost 10 years worth of post-graduate experience.
Katherine has travelled extensively and has a Certificate in Systemic Practice with Families from the University of London (UK), in addition to undertaking Cognitive-Behavioural training at the Oxford Centre for Cognitive Therapy (UK). She has contributed to the writing of a book recently published in the United Kingdom which focuses on the importance of identifying the needs of pregnant women and mothers with severe mental health problems.
Katherine has worked within the Child Mental Health System and Child Protection Systems both in Australia and abroad. She has considerable experience of working with depression, anxiety, and trauma, as well as having experience in addressing other common childhood and adolescent issues, including challenging behaviours, anger management, attachment problems, eating disorders and self-esteem.
